Notes: Ubsunur has a special place in my heart. A small portion of my friends ashes are scattered near ubsunur hollow in Mongolia on the boarder of russia. She was an expert rock climber, mother of 6 beautiful children (my god kiddos), and a lover of all things blue including nail polish. Ubsunur & Ubsunur at night are in honor of her and her 5 year battle with breast cancer in which she ultimately surcome to. This blackened blue with blue shimmer would have been a color she would have loved. At night ubsunur has the clearest view of the sky. The stars twinkle and glow like you have front row access. I really had never seen a sky so clear at night until I saw the sky at ubsunur. Ubsunur at night has a blue base but when applied to the nail is relativity sheer on it’s own. It’s meant to be a topper to all your favorite colors.
Availability:
Ubsunur & Ubsunur at night will be available on my website starting May 7th. It will be available on etsy starting June 7th. I’m also toying with the idea of making Both Ubsunur(s) in mini form as a set. It all depends on feedback so if your interested let me know.

I’m glad I could share a little of the inspiration that goes into making Elevation polishes. These nail polishes are almost like little travel journals for me. I’m not much of a writer but I hope the moment I had when I was at ubsunur hollow came across in the colors.
I think you have a huge talent in doing that. I have to say, with most of your polishes that I have tried to date, I get what you were trying to convey, your inspiration; you make me see it. Which means its more than just ‘another pretty color’. 🙂

These are so beautiful. And the tears just are streaming down my face reading how these came about. What a wonderful way to honor your friend. You certainly hold a special place in those kids’ hearts.

I’m certainly trying to make enough to go around. Sometimes it hard to tell what is going to be a hit and what isn’t. I’m going to take a chance and say that I’m super proud of these two so I’m making them in quantity.
